Everyone differs in how to perceive life. Some believe in a higher power. For me I believe in one god and that he gives us on earth signs that he exists on earth. Many people say there is no proof of god or of anything he does for us but through my own personal experiences I know he is out there somewhere.
Throughout my life I have been blessed with a great supporting family who through all rough times sticks together like glue and will concur every problem set before them. My grandfather Jay Gee is a diabetic and has lost both of his kidneys along with one donated to him. At one point in time he had no kidney and no donor was available for him to have. Through prayer and hope that he would make it through at the last moment a donor was available and saved his life. You might say that this was all coincidence but this isn’t the first miracle that my grandfather has been through. When I was ten years of age my grandfather used to take me to the hospital with him as he went through treatment. Two days a week I sat outside of his room watching the heart monitor through a tall glass window because his body was surrounded my machines. But one day as I sat watching the monitor the line went blank straight and for that brief moment in time my grandfather was dead. My eyes focused solely on the monitor as it slowly started beeping again.
The miracle I experienced was no doctors doing. After many hours of tests I got to see him and he told me something that I will never forget. He said “I love my two daughters with all my heart but I’ve never had a son. I’ll never leave you until I know you’re ready for this world.” He also told me to keep this miracle a secret so my family would not see that he was venerable.
As good as that story is I have more proof. Around one year and a half ago my other grandpa, Rich, was diagnosed with altimers and was soon to die. Knowing this he visited each and every child and grandchild of his. On my time of meeting he told me this before his death. He said “I am always watching over you in spirit. Even when I die I will live on through your grandmother and father. Put your family first and get rid of those in your life that bring you down. Go 110% in everything you do.” Where’s the proof? Well exactly one year after his death my grandmother gave me a letter in her handwriting that said we are always here for you, put your trust in god and anything is possible. Your grandpa and I both want you to know that even when our physical bodies decease we will fallow you every step of the way.
Upon handing me the letter my grandma told me that she didn’t know why she wrote this letter or why it was important to give to me on that day. She said she didn’t remember writing it but she knew that it was important that I received the letter and that I knew he was still around.
So even though I have told a small amount of people my stories, sharing them seemed to be the right thing to do. So, if you don’t believe that god gives miracles or signs of his existence then you’re looking in the wrong places. Do you believe me now?
